There is only one walking boot.

Lowa Combat GTX High leg.

At least for my feet.

Only prob is, it is a £500.00/year footwear habit.

Soles and uppers both being "done" after 6 months.

They look good,my salewa are falling apart to since i started using them for work,Was going to try the rapace as they seem a bit stronger

The rapace are not just a red tag bro. The red plastic section is the place for semi crampons to attach to, hence the sole being a lot stiffer. The rand is also heavier duty as it's designed to take kicking ice. I'd take 1 pair of rapace over 3 pairs of mtn gtx anyday.

ok, great if you need crampons. we see how they go but gonna try get pair thoses dachstein climbing boot too if i can find the right size.
