i tried the graphite and found it to be crap, i now use a bit of wd40 and a good wipe down after is this ok as some people have said dont use wd40 ?? thoughts.

Just as a quick note DMM specify NOT to use hot water, it should be lukewarm at best.

Otherwise the heat can distort the plastic pusher thing causing sticking problems.

 

They also recommended WD40 or any other silicone based light oil as already mentioned.

This was in answer to my question to DMM of using graphite powder as a lube.

 

I think the problem with graphite powder is that it is too easy to add too much.

 

All it needs is a little poof:001_smile:
