I liked the Gill fingerless leather gloves but once the leather on the palm smoothes off they don't grip the rope so well. Just bought a pile of Pffanner disposables which are pretty good.

I prefer a good all round glove, one size fits all mentality, gauntlets for me all day long. Especially in the height of summer where heat really increases. Nice tingling at finger tips just before pass out and my bowels go loose

I tend to use gods gloves although my hands are rather like leather as a result. When it is cold though I have been known to use fingerless dewalt gloves from screwfix which cost about a tenner and last several months.

Try some custom made Epidermic ones, I've had a pair that have lasted me for years. They're easy to wash, waterproof, and I've only had to stitch them up a couple of times!

I'm not sure if anywhere sells them these days, I got mine through the NHS a while back.

These sound great Tim.
