Shlek fingerless gloves with wrist strap are good and comfy. That's Shlek, not sire how easy to get hold of anymore I bought five pair at arbshow many moons ago

Fisherman's gloves from Comptoir de la Mer (in France). Thin, hard wearing with good grip. Only €2.20 per pair. Worth a try.

I've been using mechanix utility. I get about 5-6 weeks from a pair during the winter. Probably a bit warm for the summer.

These are the ones..............Mapa Professional Ultrane 553. I've only ever seen them in commercial fisherman's supply shops / ship chandlers in France. Just bought 12 pairs €2.20 each on a recent trip. Can't find a supplier in the UK at that price.
