Hardcore weed /nettle killer

Hello, just got hold of a bit of yard space and need to clear it of weeds. The nettles are waist /chest high!!! I want to get some herbicide to spray and kill the buggers............. What's the strongest stuff I can get my hands on in the UK?? Glyphosate based stuff like roundup seems to be all I can get. Is It going to do the job? I've read about some other stuff I'd have to bring in from USA that would get rid of everything that grows for a year or more! Sounds great but banned over here. Any ideas welcome....... As whatever I do I'm sure they're going to come straight back!

Thanks

we use 200 ml glyphogan (roundup) with 50 ml pastor used to be (grazon) in a 10 litre water mix . the roundup is systemic (kills roots) and the pastor is a broadleaf specific. this mix kills everything.if you cant find pastor look up the active ingredient ( ie roundup is glyphosate) they may have re named it again.
