Any body know of any remedies for keeping horse flies away, been on a strimming job today and got eaten alive, I had insect repellent on but it didn't seem to work.

If you put in a search there is shed loads on it .

They are horrible little gits, hate them.

 

+1. Killed a good 30 this morning but makes no odds in a valley bottom full of them. Getting a kill requires waiting until the bar steward gets her head down for a feed and being quick! I want to bottle a few and feed them to a spider...

I have been bitten alot less since i have started wearing farmers shirts. Hotter yes, but alot less iching in the evening.

 

 

Does it help if he doesn't wash them first? :biggrin:

When the shirts are new sned out a load of grand fir, it will now be armour plated impervious to all know horse flies. Washing is optional. :lol:

Does the farmer know you're wearing his shirts?
