100% worth it! We use one all the time. It's a custom build, not a stein one. I'm amazed at how much easier it makes the job at times in relation to brash/logs. Easy to throw on and off the truck depending if it's required.

Buy one or make one :)

Worth it! We have one at work and comes into use when we need it not often but is a fantastic bit of kit we must of had 700kg on it find a good pivot point and away you go, sometimes we have one of us sitting on the log with it to level the load. 1 MAN!

It is a great bit of kit....I must admit I have taken it on jobs countless times and not actually used it (because of access and so on)

But for me it comes into it's own when loading large logs without having to cut them small (all that saw dust to clear is a pita)

We use ramps on the ifor tipper and wheel them BIG into the trailer.

I don't think it would as effective with a transit type vehicle as they sit to high to load in the back.

You can do them pretty big for Daily/transit etc loading...

Pivot a huge chunk up off the floor with the trolley, offer the trolly to the back of the truck at 45º, then get 2 or 3 of you to lift it the remaining 12" on to the truck. This way you are not lifting off the floor at any point. Back saved sweet!
