I'm with EE and was paying £70 a month for iPhone with the extras bits. I'm due an upgrade but I don't want to be stuck with an iPhone 5 for 2 years when there will probably be a newer one released in oct. they have now put me on a £20 sim only and use the same phone. 2000 mins 2gb I think and unlimited text. I can then change it when the new ones out.

I have had 2 I phones unlocked from O2 for free. Just called O2 and requested an unlock, they ask for your imei number and set things in motion, then all that's left to do is complete the unlock by connecting to the iTunes it was originally synced with...its that simple

I finally changed from contract to sim only month to month.

I've got a 4g sim in an iPhone 4S, I was told it wouldn't get 4G, they never said I wouldn't get 3G!

So no internet out and about!

Do I need a newer phone or is there something I can do?

Cheers
