Nice saw, good power to weight ratio. Given that the latest model MS211 is £262 at FR Jones, I personally wouldn't pay more than £140 for the MS210. It is worth more than that on eBay however.

None of those - it is a low end "homeowner" saw with a bad power to weight ratio!

Its a great saw for the money! An 021 was my first saw and its still running to this day with no problems.

I had one since '03 or so and it's still going well.

I gave it to my neighbour a couple of winters ago as his ms180 was struggling with the 14" bar and I was well and truly fed up with the blimmin thing as it would not run on Aspen. went back to shop 5 times, got all new carb kit, all hoses, filter and breathers and yet it would not run well on Aspen!.

Neighbour has been using it a fair bit on petrol mix and it's been faultless. (felling and cutting up firewood for two households, all sawing as he hates axes...)

I wouldn't give more than £75-£100 for it though as it's been 211 for a few years already so it can't be less than 5 years old?

That told me :001_huh:

Sorry, was meant as a joke.

I like mine. Ideal chipper saw, and even better for giving to the new lad who's probably going to hit the ground anyway. Save the big beefy saws for you big beefy men :)

Plenty of power for what I use it for, but I see your point, I'd get bored with it if I was in bar length timber.
