just hunt about for an old 090, I have 48" bar on mine have a spruce to cut at some point which is bigger than the bar. I am prone to sharpening one side more than the other and cutting curves. forwarders are handy to keep adjusting the log so you don't cut the dirt as well.

I've found that using these quickly gives you a good guide on your file work! You don't have to take too long with them but if each tooth on one side needs one or two more rubs it certainly pays dividends.:biggrin:

One with a digital display would be easiest to use. Saves looking at which graduations line up. I believe a Draper one is only about a fiver. We have one at work which has been fine.Needs a battery now and then but worth it.
