2004 transit tipper crew cab, ally chipbox on the back 2 men inside 3 saws pole saw climbing gear quarter tank of diesel and ladders weighs in at......2800kgs:lol:

payload of a whopping 700kg!

 

I knew it would be bad but didn't thing it was this bad im sure the weight plate says 1200kg

the 1200 is the gross payload then deduct staff & tools from the 1200 ,thats your payload

so it would be less than 700 kg really as we had hardly any tackle onboard

 

Dont forget to subtract the weight of the residual chip that gets jammed in everything like the heater vents, door pockets ,cab etc and all the old coke cans and maccy D wrappers. . You might be down to 500kg.:laugh1:

then theres the different axel weight restrictions, towball weight, chipper weight to think about and add too. how heavy is that? your gross payload is, as everyone says, minus all your tools and chaps! does the total push you over the magic 3500kg? Tacho time? Good luck!
