HI TREE SO im right then on paper the 660 has more and less vibration and less weight to so I'm right then the 660 is lighter and less vibration and less power on paper and your not right in what you said thanks jon

Jon, I never mentioned weights and powers, you did that. I never commented because it matters not to me, I will (and do) work with both.

what I said was this

Well let's see, it's a proven saw and didn't get withdrawn, the dealer will post it to you if needed and it's a perfectly good saw.

Arguing the toss over "half a gram heavy on the back end" is a waste of time, show your talent and do the best job you can with what you have to hand.

And I stand by that.

Here we go again...

Jon don't believe everything you read, some things are fictional, like the bible ;)

Windthrown, welcome to the site, have fun trying to understand English, and Jon-speak... Niko will be along shortly to tell you that stihls are crap and over-rated

Wasn't Husqnarna one of the deadly sins?

Btw I'm just about to buy my first orange saw. I'll call it Envy.

I'm sure he has  although he's been surprisingly productive on here recently rather than just squabbling with TCD about which is better out of husky or dolmar...

Envy, greed, lust, gluttony, wrath and pride could all be husqvarna saw names, but stihls are all sloth

Hello there Windthrow. All this rational talk and clear headed reasoning is all fine and good, but when it comes down to it, and i'm not biased, the 660 has to be the all time greatest saw in the history of the world, and I'm gutted that those confused people at HQ are pulling it, so yes, buy as many as you can, it will be an act you will always be glad of.

Even if they do fill the air filter like a hoover bag.

AS has been nose diving lately. I am sure ST has more time to spend here nowadays... And now we have windthrown, another AS member...
