Friday's are my new stump grinding days, how do you find running costs and how reliable your truck is...?? I'm seriously thinking of one

So you're selling the Iveco because you don't need the off road capability and considering replacing it with an agricultural 4x4.

Have you considered one of those mercedes 6x6??

:laugh1::001_tongue:

What my dilemma is that I'm in search of the perfect vehicle which I know isn't out there... We used to do lots of site clearance work for house builders but that seams to have dried up. I like having the capacity to carry what I can at the moment but fir bigger jobs I could resort to taking 3.5 timber with ifor tipper behind landy. How you finding changing from mog to tranny???

Why is the iveco not the perfect vehicle though. Or as close to as you can get. What can't it do that a transit or similar can do. Is it too big for everyday stuff.

I really wish this had been about 6 months ago when I had to get a new truck due to the other one being written off.

the answer is probably a combination of vehicles although costly might be viable long term . i changed my 7.5 ton leyland daf and now have a sprinter and ranger single cab and get by but i do miss the wagon knowing you will get everything on is great ,pro s and cons i suppose ..:thumbup:
