I love sycamores. Got a big one out back of mine. I think it needs some sort of anti-tree racism campaign.

Birds of prey face similar outdated prejudice as the sycamore. Only education will out.

There is a small wood near here which was varied when planted but it has been neglected and is now all Sycamore poles. They are nice majestic trees when they are out on their own but in woodland they are too much for the other trees.

Whats not to like . Superb trees when mature . Great fire wood . Seasons fast and splits easy ......

Been offered a load of seedlings but haven't taken them yet, although I suspect the mature sycamore just over the fence will produce enough babies should we want to plant some

Don't Rush into judgements like that just because there is unrest in the forest, there is trouble with the trees. For the maples want more sunlight but the oaks ignore their pleas.
