Do the tree to suit you. crash out the biggest bit you can, that will keep them busy, then do a few wee easy bits, while eyeing up your next big kiboom!!

Drop heavy logs onto brash, make sure the branches are like a birds nest aswell, that will slow them down.

Shout down for a bigger saw and lowering rope, then when they are away, crash some more stuff down and shout ' it's ok, I don't need it now ' just as they have got it all out and saw fuelled.

A true climber is like a singer in a band, everyone else knows it and they don't like it, tough!

Either strap on the spikes and upy upy or get dragging.

A touch of arrogance is what your needing !!

:) :)

Oh and stay safe and listen to your elders .

Also, when deadwooding, try and throw the bits as far apart from each other as humanly possible, or even better, in next doors garden.

Another handy technique is make sure it hits a branch on the way down scattering it into 20 pieces.

Or try to get everything hung up then knock it all out in one go on your way down, and have a go at the ground crew for not clearing it all before you got down.

Its hard to tell on here if people are being sarcastic because there are some idiots out there

I wasn't being sarcastic and I'm not an idiot either!

I was having a laugh, it's obviously gone over your head.

Read it in a year or 2 and you'll get it.

As for speeding up, just do things quicker.:)

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
