Great stuff but there is no way I have a proof of purchase........... I still give it a go.

i think its more prevalent now days to check which line up of tools suits your needs i.e. what else can you get to fit the batteries

alot of people are now choosing the new milwaukee fuel line as there meant to be brilliant

its where ill be going as they offer grease guns angle grinders and the most powerful impact wrench to fit the same batteries

metabo also have an interesting line up

another one here for makita lxt,impact driver is great,also got jigsaw and soon going to get grinder, have 3 batteries,sorted

Makita 18v li stuff is great. The 22 min charge cuts down number of batteries needed however never let them go completely dead. I've been told Milwaukee red lithium ion bats are the next level.

just make sure when you order a set the drill/driver have diffrent specs. The drill should have a 65mm dia in wood drilling ability, the other models havent got quite the same strength for every day heavy duty work.

I am going to destroy this thread by saying I have Festool and would never go back to anything else, the quality of build is terrific and you really do get what you pay for, I got mine about 6 years ago it is the D handle one but not the new cheapie version! I think it is the c12 or something and it outperforms 14+v other drills.

 

I know they are quite pricey but I like tools
