I was under the impression the springs had to be uprated?

They do but some people think they don't, personally I would not want to be the owner of it if it was involved in a serious accident if it wasn't done properly.

That seems to easy? Haha

Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

It is that easy, they will look at the request and decide what to do, if the new weight is acceptable (within the design weight) you should get the amended document back in short order.

If the changes are of a more radical nature they might want you to bring it to VOSA for an inspection. A lot of this is to be sure you aren't up to no good.

Serious changes may require a single vehicle approval (SVA)

HI TREE what about TACKO mate and MOT CLASS thanks jon

It's 3.5 ton or under so it's a light goods vehicle/car and it'll be tested as a light good vehicle/car any thing over that weight will need an operators licence and a check every 10 weeks, no need for a tacho unless you operate over 100km of you're home base (as the bird flies)

I attended a crappy vosa seminar a month or two back
