Tried to PM you but your inbox is full:

I bought a 36" Oregon Powermatch bar for my Stihl 056. I've used it twice and now my saw is buggered and they don't make parts for it.

It's only been used on two very short occasions, and has two chains with it. One brand new, the other us used but barely.

If you are interested in an "as new" bar/chains then I'm after £90

They were £140 half a days use ago.

What went wrong with the saw? Do you still have it?

Piston and cylinder scoring, likely due to an air leak, manifesting itself with low compression and warm start failure.

I still have it. Not sure weather to flog it as spares, or just swallow the loss and forget it!

I know how good the 460 is Jon, even on a 25" it's a belter, but the Huskies lend themselves to modding better, and it's lighter!

Is it really better? You can't be telling me Stihl have actually improved a saw!?

I'll compare the two and see!
