Seems loads of people think Costa Coffee is good coffee!:lol::lol:

You gotta be kidding me! It's horrible; weak, milky, no rocket fuel in it whatsoever.

They need to get a mocha pot and some proper fresh beans on the hob!

Have the British beeen duped into thinking that's what even a latte should taste like?

And they have the ckeek to say "saving the world from mediocre coffee".

What a joke.

Before you use a petrol station Costa machine open the big door at the bottom to see how the milk is stored.

Some of them have the milk in a massive bottle that just gets topped up. Therefore, rarely emptied and cleaned.

Be careful.

Costa can make a good coffee just depends on the staff. Since the initial boom alot of these places have gone down hill and lets face it if you are doing a 10 hr shift at minimum wage would you really care if you are making perfect coffee.

I could never claim to be an expert but I think their flat whites batter than a latte and have found Costa's far better than the other chains, allways get em to chuck an extra shot in if its too milky.

Senior Management avows nobody make coffee like me.

(This may of course be a cunning Ploy, as I get outta bed at about 06:05 to make it!)

Anyway bought a "Ranchillo" expresso machine and matching grinder after using a few cheapo expresso machines to death.

Mostly whatever No5 is on offer, generally in Sainsburys.

A triple (& perhaps quadruple?) expresso into a large mug of hot milk.= breakfast.

The stuff from any franchise is pure dross in comparision.

I do know they are chuffing expensive, ( Exeter Services, 2 coffees and 2 muffins £9.50 eek) avoid them like the plague, if we're on the road we try for proper cafes to get proper coffee
