Pricing the Job

I went to take down a small plum tree the other day, 15 mins max, we did it on the way to the job of the day, I charged £25. The lady's husband paid me at the end and said I was to cheap and he would of paid 3 times that! He than said if he charged that much in his line of work he wouldn't make any money (chartered Surveyor). You just can't win sometimes, LOL.

Pricing isnt that difficult so long as you know how long a job is going to take. However no matter how good your pricing is if the customer is unwilling to pay it then you have no chance! Most numptys round here are willing to work for peanuts and in return give the customer a crap job. the customer doesnt care because its cheap! and they always seem busy!
