Fair price for a trailer

Have a look at Paxton trailers. I'm very tempted by a 6x4 with mesh sides for £750. Not cheap, but a good compromise compared to an IW and I don't need to use it commercially.

I won't slag anything off on a public forum so if anyone wants some pics of our experience of them, pm me.

Check out ebay and such like for a second hand Paxton as well, i paid £430 for mine and was barely used!

check indespension website for second hand ones. i got a plant trailer from them all serviced. cost me £800 new getting on for £1500.

never is mentioned is warrick trailers do some very good ones well built.

IF seems to get a lot of press and good kit but there are other makes out there as good if not better

other firm who may have a good one is trailer tec at micheldever hampshire.

do the home market ones but also do comercial kit.

if you get from a dealer then do have a come back. not that trailers go wrong much.

regulations in the pipeline from the eu will see all these made up trailers made illegal,there will be mandatory testing on all trailers in the not to distant future….either buy a homemade and be prepared toscrapit when the rules come in or hold off for a decent secondhand one from a recognized manufacturer this should be plated and have an individual chassis number, year of manufacture a,xel load limits etc…… hope this is not discouraging ……..but it is better to be forewarned ….. best of luck

Decided to bite the bullet and with living so close to IW we ended up ordering a P6E with a full cage for a rounded £1k. The resale values seem so high it made sense spending so much in the first place.

 

Three weeks waiting now though!
