No of course I wouldn't. It is listed by someone with zero feedback and a generic picture. The bids are nearly all from a fellow zero feedback person, ie being bidded up as a con. So this is a quick way to lose your money. But... Ebay can be a perfectly good place to buy chainsaws if you apply a little common sense.

It ain't jon. Its for sale in Wakefield, same description as the bent one that HB told us about.

would you buy a chainsaw from eBay?

 

I have bought 4 second hand ones so far, have been pleased with the results.

 

It has been ok as I am able to mend my own saws.

 

If I buy new I go to main dealer, 2 year warranty and all that.

 

Also when you buy from a main dealer you get a handy sticker on the saw to expedite warranty issues.:wink:

I have bought a 357xpg and 346xpg and 346xp from ebay 2nd hand all good saws. I would risk buying again. However I would not buy the saw in the link for the above mentioned reasons.
