It was in there for four ! Months waiting for him to sort problem

Said it was corroded carb and he had four more waiting for parts

He quoted £50 for carb kit......(£20 on ebay)

Then new mechanic started and said it had picked up on bore .....

Made me offer against new husky which i bought as back up saw

Having already bought a new one elsewhere

So nowI have two nearly new husqvarna saws, and I'm wondering if chinese would have been better

I have old saw stripped, but not looked at bore yet .....

Have to admit I've been sloppy over fuel, can stay in can for few months,

Unfortunately we are going to see more and more of this issue raising its head for some time to come. As they increase the bio content of fuel oils it will affect not just saws, but anything that uses fuel oil. We are doing more and more pump outs of peoples heating oil tanks to clear water and sludge because of the increased bio content.

So what happens in Brazil where there's loads of bio-fuel ?

i think most fords are dual fuel out there .......

Do Husqvarna's just fall to bits?

I found device few years ago that you poured anything with sugar/alcohol into and it turned it into fuel ( they recommended bar slops, ends of wine bottles, and anything with sugar)

Looked like small petrol pump was about $10,000 i think

Residue went down drain, everything automatic....free fuel for $10k was very attractive idea

Thats why I considered importing ford from brazil.......
