PTO Saw bench advice

I would say as far as the emergency stop button is concerned, wire it to the fuel cut off solenoid if your tractor doesn't have an ipto switch, it really isn't ideal but its there. If you are going to run it on a same or an international with pull to stop then you would have to discuss an alternative mechanical device with the manufacturer, I'm willing to wager a company like ryetec would make you a bespoke machine, it may cost more, but it would be worth it.

I've got a Riko saw bench now.

 

Went to try and use it for the first time and I can't have the bench on the tractor linkage with the PTO shaft connected as it's too long. And can't have it free standing as it'll flip the bench.

 

Obviously going to ring Riko in the morning to see if I can swap for a much shorter shaft.

 

Don't want to sound daft but I'm not doing something wrong am I? Here's a pic to show what I mean. The PTO shaft is just propped there and it's as short as it'll go...
