Hi IRON a small tractor will run a 19t posch splitter pto power one a MF 35 does it ok thanks Jon

It's only 26 engine hp, or 18 hp at the PTO. Do you really think it will be enough? How much does the MF 35 have?

Might struggle with weight on the 3 point link to as she's only a compact.

It's done a hell of a lot of work over the 18+ months it's been owned. Minor issues but mainly down to use and wear and tear.

It's done this lot in the last few weeks. Easily split 500 cube in the time it's been here.

Thanks Rob, thank speaks volumes! So 13T is plenty then?

Lifting is likely to be your problem. We have a 55 hp compact and the Krpan 18 tonne splitter and it's right at the limit of our tractors lift. If we had the Posch equivalent don't think we would have got it off the ground. If the weight was close in it would be OK but the weight on these splitters is a fair distance out from the hitch attachment points. Suspect when it comes to running it you would be OK most of the time. I run ours with the PTO on eco and it only stalls on the gnarliest of lumps.

It's been working through arb waste of all sorts of shapes and sizes and hasn't really struggled. The two speeds on it means it can split at half speed but is much more powerful.

Leave them out in the open. Yard space is open to the prevailing wind so dries them lovely.
