Ye we have a set on our 130 defender , we have had them at least 3 years still plenty of tread left, we have had the truck fully loaded and they have taken the weight no probs. Would buy another set tomorow, we bought them on the rims already ballanced for about 110 pounds a corner plus vat. Best value thing iv ever bought.

I had remolds on the back of a truck felt vague. The price of a remold is too close to the price of a budget to be an option. I had the new bfgs on my hilux tipper very little noise good on tarmac never got stuck in mud. I think they wear quicker now but better in the wet on tarmac. Most remoulds have alreaday done 60,000 miles they would have to be half price to be worth doing.

Thanks for that, looks like hankooks have moved up on the shortlist, and the kumho have gone off the list, don't fancy soiled underwear!

I've had the Kumho tyres on for 18 months and the only time I have lost grip on tarmac was going over a diesel spill which was unmarked. :cursing: I've done 24,000 on them and they still look like new. :001_smile:
