Bits of paper and talk mean nothing, chuck em up a tree, you will soon know if they have got it, it won't take a day, 10 minutes will probably be plenty.

Guess my next question would be other than Arb Talk, would anyone be able to point me in the right direction/location to search for climbers/groundsman etc. Ta.

Put a notice up in your local arb shop if you can, it's worked for me before

Agreed Kevin, happy with what i offer and the bigger picture to employing staff etc, though still willing to continue to learn & develop, as it would be foolish of me to think otherwise i reckon.

A good "experienced" climber will have references that he would tell you about.

As others have said hire them in for a day, you will soon know if they are an asset to you or not.

If you are in the south east, you might find that good climbers are in short supply!

Not sure how true this is as in area, might be true nationwide, as most good subby climbers will have normally got enough contacts to be busy. I'm sure you will find good climbers through Arbtalk, but you will probably find some not so good ones too aswell as plenty of inexperienced ones who will become good with time, everyone starts somewhere. Best of luck:thumbup1:
