And the guy wearing the newly approved chainsaw wooly hat. Didn't see a CE or EN patch but I'm sure it must have been there. Or perhaps it was just some guy with a tractor and saw, plenty of them about.

Didn't see the news, but I used to work with a guy who always wore combats over the saw trousers to protect the expensive trousers from scratches, cuts etc. Bloke could've been doing the same thing......

now that you posted that, the lad I did my cs39 with did the same.

No way I could do it for the same reason - far too hot most of the time with only the saw trousers on, never-mind another layer.

ITV promoting safe chainsaw use.... not! and if they do design lightweight breathable combat trousers that are type C class 1 let me know i like the idea of not getting so hot in my sthil hi-flex trousers in the summer!
