  1. ITV promoting safe chainsaw use.... not! and if they do design lightweight breathable combat trousers that are type C class 1 let me know i like the idea of not getting so hot in my sthil hi-flex trousers in the summer!
  2. The Bandit looks great as well. Its a hard choice all comes down to what the budget is i guess and preference. its just the titan seems so cheap for what it shows it can do in the videos.
  3. I have always thought my hi-flex where comfy but the down side is they really don't last with all the snagging and cuts its a shame they look great when new but i think next time as much at they are expensive i am looking into the Pfanner

  5. I am constantly reading reviews on all small gravity chippers looking at videos and keep changing my mind. I have now found the Titan Pro Beaver 15 HP 420cc Lifan High Torque petrol engine. What has drawn me to this is that it clams to chip 100mm Jo beau m300 13hp Honda chips 80mm £4600 new Greenmech 14hp Briggs & Stratton chips 100mm £4500 new GTS1300 13hp Mitsubishi GM401 chips 85mm £3400 new Titan Pro Beaver Lifan High Torque chips 100mm £2000 new The Titan looks the exact same build as the GTS ?? The 15hp Lifan High Torque petrol engine has good reviews. What are your views i know its not going to have the solid build as the jo beau or greenmech but for the price what are your views. ??? http://www.titan-pro.co.uk/Petrol-Chipper-Heavy-Duty-Beaver--Shredder--Mulcher/375/0/Product.aspx Thanks
  6. Thank you for your help and advice! Yes I think the extra weight of the greenmech would provide issues on some of my jobs! I had my mind set on a timber wolf but I really like what I have seen from the JB M300! At the moment having no chipper at all It looks like a good starting step! I will have a look into GMT and tp100 thanks! And will have a good read on the wee chipper thread
  7. Hello, I have been looking at chippers was originally after a timber wolf but not wanting to jump in the deep end with the expense of the hydraulic chippers and didn't want a finance plan so would rather get something smaller to start like the Jo Beau M300. Anyone know of any for sale ex-demo, used or new depending on price? It looks good from the videos? Thanks James
