We have the Zillon in stock and ready to go on next day delivery.

We are only holding the 4m at the moment as we feel this is the right length for a lanyard.

If you want a smaller or longer size please email us and we will put it on our next order with Lyon, we recieve orders daily from them so there wont be a long delay.

Hi Tommy

If you use a different rope it will not meet conformity.

If you use a Petzl Zillon rope you will meet conformity.

The device is tested as a whole not individually, the rope is approx 13mm.

It would be upto you if you put your own rope into it but it's not recommended, the Zillon is the same as the Grillon in terms of conformity.

Used mine for the first time today. Very smooth. Releases under load nicely and sits nice and close on the harness. I'm using it in a dmm sentinel carabiner and it found its way to the narrow bottom and jammed in a bit, so would recommend a rubber stop or a carabiner that fits all the way round. I think the 13mm rope is fine in it.

Interesting. I would have thought that it would've been a thinner rope than 13mm. I know the Zig zag worked better thinner. I'll have to have a look at one in the flesh but it would have to be brilliant to replace my current lanyard!
