If you were buying in logs around these parts, that would not be a cheap way of heating your home.

 

No, it certainly wouldn't , I have access to fallen softwood in a local plantation, don't fancy leccy or oil bill to get same heating!!

There's enough fallen in there to keep your stove going for the next 10 years
