what was the cost of hiring the avant

It was £80 for the day.

It would lift 2t (without the boom out) and cos it's articulated it caused no lawn damage at all, and i really mean none. There was minor scuffing on the really steep part of the garden where we had to shuffle the machine but otherwise it was awesome.

a chap i used to work for had the vermer one with the log grab and a bucket.

fantastic piece of kit. Was narrow aswel so could fit through most gate ways.

We used to carry ply sheets to put down on the lawn, making a runway, to stop damage to the lawn.

I had a big Beech to dismantle. Brush was chipped on site but the logs had to go up hill for 100m, so I hired an Avant 635.

WHAT AN AWESOME TOOL!

If I needed one twice a week I'd buy one tomorrow.

Good old Coppards! They have some great kit to hire.

How much are they new?

Do you see second hand ones about?

There was a deal recently on the 420 at just under £12k new, I tried a nearly new one and I can see they would be a useful tool but it didn't have enough pushing power for me to want to buy one.

But the 600 series are supposed to be a completely different beast but has a fair price tag as well, somewhere around the £22k mark from what I can remember for the 635.
