I had a 220 and that had 9 blades, they were to produce a finer chip for biomass I think .

History Lesson.

Earlier machines had 3 rows of 3 while the Eco range had two rows of two.

we then went to 2x3 on bigger machines with a deeper "cut".

We did go to one row of two and even single banks!

Current range; 220 = 2x3, 1928 = 2×2, Quad = 2×1, 150 = 2×2, Eco TMP = 1×2.

We, on average, use some 500 blades per month and about half the original weight is lost in the process.

Sign up for the forthcoming factory tour and see how we use 125kms of welding wire, 1100 soft pads, 25000kgs sheet steel, 45 litres hand cleaner etc per month on average!

I'll post a picture of them lined up with others in the same batch. They have a newer version of the Isuzu 4LE1 engine rated at 55hp.

Useful thread to read I think I have 26 blades in my eco combi and was dreading the day I had to get a quote to sharpen. If I get a pic of my blades could someone give me an opinion on condition. seems to chip and shread ok but dont want to stress the machine with blunt blades.
