Does anyone use this?

Is it any good? Boss has bought a load and reckons it's good stuff but I'm not convinced. Pic of the moped isn't filling me with confidence

Noooo ! Don't use it . Been loads on here about mix ratios and the quality of 2 stroke oil and that one was to be avoided . Use high quality synthetic oil at 50:1 .

I need some evidence or facts to take to him to back up why I say I'm not wanting to use it.

its old tech mineral oil and just not up to the job of looking after a modern day saw . You need fully synthetic oil like Husky xp or the equivalent Stihl oil and mix at 50:1 . there have been reports of engines failing using that stuff . It was on here . Do a search .

If you are going to use that in your 372XP, I am not going to send if back to you:001_tt2:

A saw will rev up to 15,000 - your saw will run up to 13,500 rpm. The average scooter will be much lower at around 10,000rpm

The chainsaw will hit peak revs within a half a second, the scooter will build up to this speed.

The oil has been designed for scooters

Stihl/Husky oils have been specifically designed for saws and garden equipment.

You have already had one seize on your saw - you gonna risk it again? The cylinder may not take another seize - the OEM part will be around £330:thumbdown:......not fitted:001_rolleyes:
