Firewood production in the woods!

This setup would be an ideal unit for hiring out to small woodland owners who want 1st thinning for firewood. It utilises minimum handling of the timber repeatedly, a most in efficient firewood production. Also it would be nice doing all the work in the woods, rather then in some bleak muddy timber processing yard. :thumbup1:

Logs are not split so wont dry that fast.

As above, that's what those bolt on pieces are doing, splitting it as the shear comes out.

Nokka do a similar set up but with a 4 way set up on the other side so the log gets pushed through the knife, more like a conventional processor.

I've seen something similar to the Nokka one but on a conventional roller head (on youtube somewhere) - worked better than I thought it would.
