3 sheets 12mm phenolic resin coated ply for front/sides and 2 sheets 9mm for roof. 1" angle (3mm thick) for frame so all nice and light but strong enough to take the ladders or steps.

Built so the sides still drop for loading rings and don't forget the perspex rear window with hinged cover for reversing the chipper.

Arbtech, I really like the sound of the perspex rear window with hinged cover! I was thinking of a perspex rear window for when I make my chipbox, but the hinged cover sounds ideal, as it'll obviously stop the perspex getting damaged/dirtied up. Do you have any pics of it at all? Cheers. Rob

Dexta i was gonna go down the same route as i too have the Ifor 10x5.6 trailer but i tink i'll sell the trailer and pickup truck and buy a transit double cab. Tanks fer all the pics and info folks.

A couple more pictures as requested, hope they help. The centre post has a tenon cut into it that fits in a slot and then has a bolt threw the the post. The front head board has two bolts that are fixed to the sides and then is cable tied to the ladder rack
