Very clever.

Just got up from a small nap. :001_smile:

Was snoring too loud apparently, even the neighbours had a remark. but I don't know as I was asleep.

Thanks for finding out for bud. And thanks for asking about other things. But I'm all good really. :thumbup1:

Help required, I have a Turner 30" pedestrian flail mower that needs new tyres and other bits and pieces. It has governor springs and guards missing. I will make guards myself. I did ask for help on this machine a while back in another thread but cannot find any useful diagrams etc. I have just looked on the kohler engines website as that is what I suspect it is. However I do not know what the engine is. Where will I find serial numbers or other useful info?

Also will it need a valve regrind, as I suspect its a legacy from leaded 4 star days? The engine looks like this

Sorry Goaty, I cant be of any sensible help on this one, anything I say would be speculalative rather than based on my experience, and thats just a waste of words.

But there may be someone out there.....

It would be good speculative based on experience though:thumbup: I will post results if I make progress, Its one of those lying around unfinished projects:001_rolleyes:

Thanks, but the problem with speculative answers is that they are taken as gospel by some people.

I prefer to only state what I know I know, rather than what I think I know:001_smile:

Can anyone help? We have a dozen Rover pro cut 50s and everyone of them has the same problem. Once they are hot they a complete b@#$&!d to start again. Have sent them back to the dealer on multiple occasions and they say there is bigger all wrong with them. Had all the carbs checked out and no problem. This is the second season with these piles of crap and it is getting beyond a joke. Any ideas?
