Was the timber staying?

 

its all about the prussik mark :001_cool:

 

yer all timber was staying in rings, we winched chipper up the garden so sprayed all the chips to, cant beat leaving everything had a fire for rakings sorted been there all week doing stuff

Looks a good bit of kit, my only concern would be standing under lowering timber. I suppose if there was a tree near by you could redirect the grcs, not having used one its only my observation

 

that was what we would have done and ran it through a pulley at the base and upto the top pulleys we didnt have any real suitable trees to use for the grcs, but the groundies were more than happy with it as it was

I wondered why you unclipped your main line, and then i saw that massive piece swing round..........

Good work.

 

Same. I never would have done that, no quick descent if needed, until I felled a top onto my line a while back. Took ages to sort out and was most embarrassing.

 

Didn't realise you were cack handed mate :P

 

yer i just unclipped with that bit cause it was abit big really, the 2 stems got pulled together with that bit they normally were 6ft apart if not more.

 

cack handed only the best people are left handed :001_tt2:
