HI JAMES it all down to if you cut loads of very large hard wood butts then get a 880 BUT if you only say 3/4 large butts a year then get a 660 on 3ft/30" bar it so much lighter to use all so there cheaper then £200 then a 880 get one very this month as there going up mate thanks jon

What he said except get Husky not Stihl ( just my opinion though ) unless there isn't a Husky dealer near you.

just had quite a few problems with the chain tensioners and going out of tune and cutting out all the time also not forgiven it for cracking me in the b*llox with the starter :sneaky2::lol:

To be honest the tensioner is one of the more common problems with them. It certainly wouldn't put me off the saw though.

As for the running problems, that is rare. In fact, I've never heard of it before.

I cannot comment on your likelihood of receiving another injury though as I have no idea how big your nuts are😎

Ok thanks, thats the downside to the 660, when i couldn't mill as large timber as the 880 which would be nice to have the option.

its either get the 880 which will be great for milling and could do anything, but would be heavy to use for general tree work.

Or the 660 which will be nicer and lighter to use for tree work but i wouldn't have the option of milling anything over the 30" mark.
