Best Transit tipper to buy?

Recommended Posts

We've two transits, had one for over 5 years now, a bit slow and not much fun towing a tracked chipper when fully loaded but it will do it. Apart from the lack of legal carrying capacity they do the job just fine! The newer one with the turbo tows our chippers fully loaded without any problems.

I'd stick a tool box on the back rather then go for a crew cab. I'd imagine you'll be overloaded with just tools in a crewcab :001_unsure:

we have a transit single cab with a toolbox and chip box on at work, it seems to fit down most drives and entries etc, but it is not very good when fully loaded with chip or logs especially when pulling a chipper.
