Until recently I insured our vehicles with various insurers, including the NFU among others. I would say they the average price per vehicle was about £600

 

some cheaper some more expensive, this was for full commercial insurance any driver policies.

 

I have now got a fleet deal and have managed to insure 1x transit 2009, 1x canter 2000, 2x defenders 2008, 2013, and 1x discovery 2008 for £2014!

 

Well pleased with that.

 

Its Clear insurance's Arbor truck policy BTW.

Thanks Tom, I've been considering looking into fleet insurance for a while now.

As i understand you need three vehicles for a fleet. I wonder if they would accept two trucks and a bike.

Mog £ 400 ish

Kibuto rtv £100

All just me

 

Personal car RRS £420 me and mrs

 

Years ago I had a fleet policy and I felt I got robbed.

It was meant to be any 3 vehicles, so I bought an Impreza Turbo and they took another £1200:sneaky2:

 

HI STEPHEN my mate had a TVR one of the last ones made:thumbup: on fleet policy write it off it was a night mere for him to get the money out of the insure:thumbdown: thanks jon :thumbup:

TBH we have not been entirely claim free over the last few years, and I like to have good cover, there are some really cheap insurers out there but if the worst happens and you make a claim they are crap.

 

The difference between commercial and domestic insurance prices is also huge.
