The only bit I have done is to modify the baffle plate and spray it black, the rest of it is someone else's work!!!!!9_9

I am calling it "up Periscope"!

Nice welding, would have been nicer if brazed.

That was a quick disclaimer steve.

I left the spark arrestor screw out on an aftermarket muffler on one of my 346's and had a similar but much smaller hole in the top cover

Just to clarify, none of this "modified" exhaust outlet is mine, I would have preferred doing the job right in the first place! What you see is a bad job being modified further....badly!

I was surprised this week, twice to be honest. I was sorting a bogging issue on a 260 I ported a while ago and it really pulled, a lot of pressure on the bar and it....pulled some more - well impressive.

The 2nd time - a 560 I ported with a similar bogging issue which I think is a kinked fuel line when leaned on hard, full bore in a large lump of wood and the same, just kept pulling even though I was leaning excessively on it noodling hard.

I rarely get to try my work out, I just mod them but they were pretty damn good tbh!

No conspiracy, just that the thread hasn't been used!

That's a relief, when @Stubby stopped singing his praises of his 'Spud-ported' saws, I thought he'd died or something

Glad to hear that he, and you, are both still going strong. :thumbup1:
