Right, help needed, I need a bigger carb for the 357 as it's as lean as I can get it on a 15", so I can't go up to 18 as it'll be too rich. Likewise I need a bigger one for the 385 for the 36" bar and when I have it modded, but I believe a 372xt carb is the one to go with here?

Right - the 357XP - what has been done to it and what are you trying to achieve? a bigger carb will deliver more fuel/air to the saw - you are trying ot LEAN it down???

I have ported it as you know, and it sucks more air through, hence a richer mixture, so, by my reckoning I can sort this by fitting a carb with a larger diameter centre (dunno what it's called) as this will suck less fuel out, allowing a bit more adjustment
