Aaaargh!

Still can't watch videos on here.

It's the power to weight thang I'm after.

Speed of cut and no bogging, balanced with not pulling my arms out.

What's a 357 weigh?

Also...

My mechanic mate just told me about an 880 with a 361 unlimited ignition?

Also he said after that the next limitation is the carb?

5.5KG on the 357 without a bar and chain.

Sounds like your mechanic wants to tune your 880!! generally limited coils don't limit the performance as the saw is unlikely to pull anything like 11Krpm in the cut as the saw usually falls down to where it makes full power when under load.

Think he may have been on Google:001_rolleyes::lol:

Spud in your opinion husky 550/560/357 or stihl 261?

Which are really worth porting to make a big difference?

My mech mate started to tell me about porting mtronic. Squish, clams and something else to do with cylinder being milled?

I lost it before squish[emoji15]

Of this, there is no doubt.

I have read 100's of posts in this thread.

The problem I have is which saw?

Stihl 261 or 461, or "buy a husky" [emoji33]

The big difference is the 357XP, the 560 has nice balance and is improved nicely with porting and a muffler mod.....both have their attributes. Depends on what you can lay your hands on and how much you want to spend!
