its a spuded 372xpg I think 24inch bar got done at the same time as yours stubby I believe

I was thinking about putting full wrap handle on it but its heated handle ATM :lol: so changed my mind

What can be done to a husky 560xp AT for performance ?

Ported , muffler mod etc ? Have you done any, and what results did you see ? I have heard people say to remove the mesh (spark arrester) from the muffler, is this correct and why ?:confused1: What costs would be involved in the above tunning ?

I currently have a scrapper of a 560 sent in by the owner as an experiment to see what I can get out of it.

 

Not worked on it yet but will port and tune it to see what is possible.

Managed to put an 8t sprocket on my 357...

 

Christ I dislike outboard clutches!

 

But some blood and skin and WD40 later I've got a new 15" bar and full chisel chain on the ported 357. Quick swipe of the depth guages and...

 

HOLY HELL!

 

Fastest saw I've ever used! Bit power head heavy on a 15" but I like it that way.

 

Seriously fast saw.

Glad it has all ended well - not really tried mine after a second visit to porting it and opening up the muffler a bit more - got some timber down on the lane out of the village - dead standing ash and elm.....my favourite:thumbup:

You did have it off, new sprocket

I just assumed the sheer power of the saw had tightened it right up!

I just tap the thing tight and then run it up and slap the chainbrake on - any cutting action will tighten the clutch hence the left hand thread!

 

They do tighten up pretty fast but I grease the thread for future removal when I work on saws!
