Recreational climb Thirsk area

i think you might be right there mate i thought he meant meeting in the middle anyway not heard anything for a few days so we ll see when gandy comes back

but if anyone interested around lancashire i could do with some climbing.havent climb since before xmas.after all that food i think i need to burn some fat:biggrin:

Not that many big interesting trees that I know of around Thirsk, or at least 1s that you might get access too.

Sod it lets go climb some stuff at studly royal at rippon

 

Probably got more chance of that than climbing any in thirsk John. How about that tree you mentioned in Richmond?

I did mean to meet in the middle but I can't drive now as I've just suvered some siezures! I'm also grounded for the time being. As for a meet in Whalley I know the groundsman at the Abbey, there's some very nice trees in the grounds beech mainly, so I'll send some feelers out

Whalley Abbey would be fantastic. If we did some minor pruning (silky stuff), they might be more inclined to let us in? Like a bit of deadwood over the paths or something like that while playing about.
