I need a new pair and was looking at the stein phantom and stein wolf boots. Any users out there who rate them. Currently in zermatts which have been great. I had air streams and really rated them too.

Not sure on haix boots after reading many mixed reviews. The new protector forest ones look good (and orange!).

Another pair is the oregon fiorldland which seem chunky.

Opinions?

got 2 pairs of Discoveries which I wish I waxed up more. massively comfey and well priced. pay attention to the inside of the feet, just behind the toecap as it can crease up and split.

I've had two pairs of Stein Bergsteiger or something like that, the £120ish pair - very comfortable, I'd happily buy another pair.

Currently on SIP boots, they seem OK but I may well go back to Stein next time!

I highly rate the stein phantoms, in mine 7 days a week some weeks, had them for about 10 months now and they've been great

The red Stein phantoms are my best selling boot here in Ireland, along with the wolf and Explorer had great reviews back. The phantoms have a leather that needs less looking after than the wolf and as they are silicone impregnated (the name of the leather is beyond me now :) )
