Just got a new chain off the bay, should be Oregon.

Chain is stamped 50J, is that not a Windsor chain.

Is Windsor chain a cheap alternative, I have only ever used Husqvarna,Stihl and Oregon chain.

Do all Oregon chains have Oregon stamped on them?

Am I correct? would like advice before leaving bad feedback.

That's no doubt a Windsor chain, and my limited experiense with .325 Windsor left a very negative impression....

You have reason to complain if that one was sold as Oregon chain.

Btw, Oregon, Windsor and Carlton all have the same owner by now.

Thanks for the answers, that is what I thought.

I have open a case with Ebay, I know it is not loads of money but I hate being ripped off.

You should contact the seller first . He may not know the difference . Might refund you possibly ??

The guy is a power seller, has a shop on ebay, listing over 200 chainsaw related items.

He also hand wrote "50J 64" on the Oregon box.

I would say he knows.
