My wife was expecting our 2 child, she wasnt well for 3 months with low iron, :thumbdown:my eldest was toddling and 1 of the dogs had a litter of pups, oh and my worker chucked it that I had trained up on the tractor.:sneaky2:, my mortgage deal was up and was going to increase by £600 per month and basically my head was fried as I couldn't get to work and had to look after my family.

I'd also bought 3 other houses in 2005-2006 that I was going to sell and make loads on but after the downturn they were worth 25% less than what they should of been and I had taken into account their appreciation when spending so much money on kit:001_rolleyes:

It was 2009 so work had almost died of death, so I sold All my kit as I couldn't stand seeing it sitting when it could be money in the bank.

So I sold that and my Mog, paid off 10% of my mortgage, all my vehicle finance, de registered for Vat and did as little as possible work wise for a couple of years and spent most of my time on here while I kept as eye on the kids:thumbup:

Then it was the Gloria years:biggrin:

I saw that article in FBT, great tractor but they need to be working. I bought mine in 2007 and had a lot of work for it to start with, then when the recession came the work wasn't there for it so I sold it, sham as I really could use it now. Mine had solid front wheels and weights on the back, also rears were water filled and had weights made for front so it didn't wheelie with the chipper on. JP Beaver near let had her over when lifting lumps of beech at the side with the boom out, soft ground too, the look on his face when he thought it was going over, Ha,Ha.
