I,ve made up about 8 of them out of old bits of wood etc all in the roof of my log shed and just ordered some tree rat proof bird feeders as atm i,ve given up filling my last feeder no 4 tuther 3 have gone west all i have left is 3 handles lol bolted with washers to the roof raffters etc they just take the feeders i,am shure there related to the chainsaw chipper nickers very clever things tree rats

Great stuff :thumbup: good use of Christmas choccy boxes, but I think the boot is my favourite

 

I have tried the boots for a couple of years but not had them nest in one yet, the smell must be gone by now:confused1:.

i took delivery of the 3 tree ratproof bird feeders today so been out to my plot and bolted them by the handles inside my log shelter 1 nut 1 balls tuthers for seed wish me luck as ive lost 4 standard feeders & so far all i,am left with is one plastic handle as the cheeky sods keep chewing through,em and theres no sign of the full feeders
